Welcome, everyone!

 

It is my absolute pleasure and honor to welcome you to the Women in Business website at Illinois State University. My name is Abby Vandiver, and I am honored to serve as the President of Women in Business for the 2025-2026 school year. I am incredibly proud to lead an organization that empowers and connects driven, business-minded women within the State Farm College of Business.

 

Women in Business was established in 2015 to create a space for professional development, leadership, and community among female business students. Since then, our organization has grown to over 180 members who regularly engage in weekly meetings, professional development workshops, service initiatives, and social events. These experiences not only help members build meaningful connections but also prepare them to succeed beyond college. We are proud of our many accomplishments, including being named the College of Business Large RSO of the Year for six consecutive years and the Illinois State University RSO of the Year for three years.

 

If you're a student at Illinois State University interested in joining our incredible organization, we’d love to meet you! Our recruitment season kicks off in August when the fall semester begins.
